Assistant Principal/ CTAE Supervisor

I am a life-long resident of Murray County. I graduated from Murray County High School in 1988. I began working for Murray County Schools in 1994. I worked for Murray County High School for 16 years as a special education teacher/department head and DCT teacher. I transferred to North Murray High School in 2010 and had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of opening the new school.  I am an assistant principal, test coordinator, and supervise the career, technical, agricultural eduacation program.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, Doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practices. I attended Dalton State College, Brenau University, Lincoln Memorial University, and Trevecca Nazarene University.

I have been married to Corey Evans for 26 years. We have two children, Storm who is 23 and Jodi who is 15. Storm will graduate from UGA in December and Jodi is a NMHS freshman.

I have a passion for educating children and helping them find the path to a successful life through education, both academic and career skills. I enjoy being a part of children's lives every day to try to influence them in a postive way. I always tell them to always do what they are supposed to even when nobody is looking. I believe in education, you have to do what is in children's best interest always and you will never go wrong. I love North Murray High School, our school system, and our community.
